The Slovak Biophysical Society regularly organizes or co-organizes several events related to the presentation of scientific results in the field of Biophysics, as well as schools and educational courses in the field of biophysics, biophotonics, biochemistry and other bioscience disciplines. Symposium SKBS
The Slovak Biophysical Symposium is a traditional SKBS event organized every two years. The main mission of these meetings of biophysicists from Slovakia is to present the latest results achieved in biophysical research, to strengthen cooperation between individual scientific teams working in this field, to strengthen and establish collegial and friendly relations between members of the society, and to appreciate the most significant works of young researchers under 35 years of age, as well as lifelong the efforts of the “bards” of biophysics in Slovakia for the development and promotion of this scientific discipline.
Regional Biophysics Conferences RBC
Regional Biophysics Conferences (RBCs) are conferences with a long tradition, whose task is to strengthen regional cooperation in Central and Southern Europe and to raise awareness of the current state of knowledge in experimental, theoretical and applied biophysics.
